Layout, Process and Productivity Improvements

Problem

Foodstuffs were looking to relocate two existing manufacturing facilities onto a new greenfield site and did not want legacy process issues and bottlenecks carried over.

Solution

DETA completed a plant review to capture improvement opportunities to incorporate into the new facility. DETA developed an in-depth understanding of the 7 production lines and developed a process map of the current operations. We then carried out a high-level methodical review with key personnel.

Outcome

The outcome was a set of recommendations for the new facility that will bring about layout, process and productivity improvements.
